KarMichael Farm is situated on a 23 Ha working farm just outside the Village of Himeville, in the Southern Drakensberg. Accommodation consists of 4 Self Catering Cottages and 4 Bed and Breakfast rooms. In total, we can sleep 22 people depending on sleeping arrangements.
The property also has 2 freshwater dams that can be fished. At present, there is only bass in the dams, and it's a strictly catch and release policy. The Farm has superb views into Lesotho with Hodgson's Peaks very prominent on clear days. The turn off to Sani Pass is just over 1 Km away.
In Room Facilities:Coffee & Tea facilities, There is hot/cold air-conditioning for your convenience,in some rooms and wall panel heaters are provided as well as hot blankets for the chilly winter evenings.
For now we are not doing breakfasts unless specially requested. we are rather supporting local coffee shops and restaurants
Situated at elevation of 1500m above sea level, Cool winters with possible snow and hot summers with heavy rainfall at times.
Right next to turn off to the Sani Pass into Lesotho and the Highest Pub in Africa.

Exquisite scenery - very tranquil..
Scenery is beautiful. Well worth a visit for anyone looking for peace and quiet. Lots of amazing hikes and outdoor activities. Road up to Sani Pass is not recommended. Only 4x4. Meal at the restaurant was very disappointing. But views from the top worth the effort!
