With only 10 luxury decorated rooms all leading out onto the garden, you can really relax at this private and intimate guesthouse. Enjoy a stroll on the smallholding where almond, pecan and olive trees grow. Your hosts live on the property and is always available to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
In Room Facilities:All rooms are quipped with a Smart TV box for your own Netflix and DSTV account. Individual climate control, free Wi-Fi, a bar fridge and coffee making facility. Queen size beds and percale linen. Spacious and light.
Area Information:Nuwerus Lodge is situated in a convenient location, near to some of the most famous wine cellars in the Cape Winelands, Boschenmeer, David Frost Signature Golf Estate, Pearl Valley Golf Estate, and within easy reach of Franschoek, Stellenbosch and Wellington.

Will definitely stay at Nuwerus Lodge again. Host was always friendly and helpful.
Most welcome stay, our rooms were clean and neat, beds where crispy clean. The hostess, Yolanda, is most welcoming. We stayed over January 2020, we woke up this morning saying that we will stay at Nuwerus Lodge again. I miss the beautiful breakfast and heartwarming Yolanda, always ready to recommend areas of entertainment and scenery in and around the Valley. It felt like home.
Lovely stay, one cannot ask for better hosts, the entire family was friendly, helpful and went the extra mile.
The room was well ventilated, attractive and spotless.The walk-in shower was perfect for my sore back.
Breakfast was exquisite.
Highly recommended.

Visiting the wineries.
The Spice Route is definitely a plus. But the town itself has some stunning spots. There are open green parks along the river which are perfect for picnics, and there are ample shops and restaurants to enjoy.
