Montagu Springs affordable self catering resort, just two hours away from Cape Town can be found at the heart of the famous Route 62. This scenic alternative to the N2 highway is also the longest wine route in the Western Cape producing outstanding wines from the harmoniously balanced terrain and mild climate. Montagu, home of the famous Muscadel is close to both the Robertson Wine Valley and Breede River Valley and is long known for its hot springs and more recently for eco, wellness and adventure sports.
Guests can enjoy our award winning pools, hot, cold and kiddies as well as discounted access to the hot mineral springs. 90 chalets, each sleeping up to four people are spotlessly clean, comfortable and fully equipped.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: we have implemented a breakage fee of R500.00 which can be paid
either on or before arrival in cash or card payment. Should you make an EFT, it should
be done as a separate payment with your booking reference and the word “breakage
fee”. This fee will be refunded one week after when checking of the chalet has been
completed by Housekeeping staff.

It was our 11th anniversary break away and it was awesome. The weather was good, friendly and very helpful staff. Amid the Load shedding, we still had a great time and will definitely check in again.

Me and my family really enjoyed our visit to Montagu Springs Resort. I wanted to be at a place just so I can swim and I was not disappointed with the cold or hot water pool, especially in the late evening.
The chalet had everything one would need for your stay and I was impressed with how clean they kept the place, ever morning the braai area would be cleaned.
I loved the swing seats and open area to walk around and enough play areas for children.
Afristay was amazing, especially Imrah who assisted me so well when I got the dates mixed up. She handled my booking with ease. I would definitely book through Afristay and recommend it to others.

Came up to Montagu for a climbing course with Blue Mountain Adventures and stayed at the Tolhuis with two friends. It was just perfect. Firstly the location, it was only mere meters away from our first day's location for climbing , LEGOLAND. We could literally stop and walk up to our accommodation for a coffee and lunch break! The place itself was just perfect for the 3 of us. Great little braai area where we enjoyed our evenings and the place is simple and humble yet stylish! The hosts, Michelle, Ivan, and Jason their 6-month-old puppy were just very warm and accommodating. Thank you!
