Known as the Jacaranda City for all the purple blossom-bedecked trees, which line its thoroughfares, Pretoria is a lovely, quiet city. It has a long, involved and fascinating history. Here you will find significant old buildings and fascinating museums. The Transvaal Museum has natural history displays and is the home of Mrs Ples, the australopithecine fossil found at Sterkfontein in the Cradle of Humankind. Also worth visiting are the Cultural History Museum and Smuts Museum in Irene, outside Pretoria.

We had a wonderful stay! Friendly, swift and helpful service. The room and artwork was beautiful! The atmosphere is relaxing. An escape in the city. 10/10 very grateful for a lovely and convenient stay.
We enjoyed our stay here and can only compliment the Owners. The room was very nicely appointed and clean with a very comfy bed and nice linen. I didn't have a hair dryer with me, but Toy had one for me to use which was appreciated. There's a lovely restaurant fairly close by called Cafe Chocolate which is definitely worth a visit....they have an amazing healthy breakfast menu.
Ons het net een dag daar geslaap. Dis was ongelooflik lekker. Die gasvrou was baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Die kamers pragtig en luuks en die omgewing pragtig en rustig. Ons sal beslis weer daar gaan slaap.
