To stay in the Corbelled House at Osfontein was an unforgettable and amazing experience. We enjoyed every second of it.
The house is a building everybody should see but even better, experience it by sleeping over.
Natasha and Stegman were great hosts, very friendly and welcoming.
We also enjoyed climbing around on the koppies behind the house and discovering all the other facilities on the farm.
Do not miss the opportunity to stay at this amazing place!

Thank you Stegman and Natasha for a wonderful experience! It was a cozy place with a marvelous fireplace and memories were made here. The stars were amazing. We had lovely walks on the farm and our hosts were very hospitable and showed us around to other accommodation options on the farm. Very clean! Really a memorable experience!

Great setting if you want to get away - loved the Corbelled house - super unique 200 year old “hobbit house” - and to top it off it rained for an hour🙏🏼🙏🏼

When everything is right and nothing is out of order or lacking in any way, you are free to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Karoo. Four nights left us feeling like we had been on holiday for a fortnight! Thank you, Osfontein.

Osfontein offers a treehouse, a converted old stone shed, and a Corbelled House - we stayed overnight in the Corbelled House.
It's a wonderful experience on many fronts - the environment is a beautiful piece of Karoo working sheep farm, with the huge night skies and fiery sunsets. The house itself is a delight for those who (like me) love to glimpse how people lived and survived before modern conveniences - although the house now has subtle use of electricity and gas for cooking. Perfectly pitched to blend modern comfort with an authentic 'primitive' experience. I would love to go back!
