Fantastic little hidden gem! So close to Underberg town but it feels like you are miles away. We were fortunate to experience full on snow whilst there. Lovely modern unit without losing the berg feel and with everything thought of. We will definitely be back!
My husband and I spent two nights at Dragon's Lair Guest House. We had an amazing stay in the peaceful setting of the Southern Drakensburg. The guest house was very immaculate and the quietness was what we enjoyed the most.

Mountain views and the breath of fresh air
It's far enough away from all the hubub to really feel like you're away from it all but also has a lot available to do if you so wish. The scenery is beautiful and the air is fresh!
Hiking, swimming, relaxing.
If you're in to adventure, then Underberg is the place to visit. There's no shortage of trails for running, hiking and mountain biking. It's close to the Drakensberg and Sani Pass.
Breath-taking beautiful! Well stocked convenience store (Elands Rest) and a few nice restaurants to have coffee. Just very cold, even in Nov.
