The perfect stopover on your way to Baviaans Kloof, near Uniondale on the Molen River, between Knysna and Oudtshoorn. our lodge is ideal for those who wish to relax in the silence of nature or who seek a romantic getaway above the exquisite waterfall on the edge of the stunning Molen River gorge. We also have a beautiful camping site for the camp masters looking to spend a few nights under the beautiful star-lit skies. Eagle Falls offers suppers and Breakfast packs on requests.

We spent one night at Eagle Falls Lodge as a stop over. The setting is amazing with beautiful views, a water fall and ponds to swim in albeit a bit chilly! The staff were most welcoming and attended to all our needs. We stayed in Chalet 1 right on the top which was very private with good views - highly recommended. It was clean and sufficiently equipped for our needs. Our only downside was firstly the constant hum, drum of the water pump - one of the main reasons (I think) for visiting this place is to "get away from it all" yet we felt this constant background noise from the pump spoiled it entirely, and then secondly advice to all guests a high clearance car/van is definitely needed to ensure a comfortable journey from the tar road to the resort. Thank you we did enjoy our stay and wished we could have stayed longer.

Quiet old world charm.
We had supper at The Hungry Ghost restaurant and the food was good. It is a small, but nice little town.
Lovely farming community that understand that life is about being kind and hospitable to each other in the harsh Karoo environment.
Convenient location for travel towards Graaff Reinet or Baviaanskloof.
