This picturesque village has an unspoilt coastline of about 2km with quaint white fisherman's cottages, which add their charm to what has been referred to as "Namaqualand by the Sea" due to the region's flower extravaganza in spring.
Baviana Beach Lodge comprises of 4 x 1 bedroom apartments - seafront with either sea views or garden views.

ACTIVITIES
Jacobsbaai is a fisherman's haven with the azure Atlantic Ocean providing an abundance of seafood like crayfish, Hottentot, galjoen, white steenbras and black mussels.
The area offers spectacular hiking along the scenic coastline. Nature walks, bird watching and the multi flower extravaganza during spring are all part of the West Coast experience.
Golf, sailing, deep-sea fishing, underwater diving, horse riding, organised boat trips and romantic sunset cruises can be arranged. Other activities in the area include windsurfing, sailing and canoeing.
The Cape West Coast is a unique region, most famous for its beautiful scenery, seafood, birdlife, wines and friendly locals.

DIRECTIONS TO BAVIANA BEACH LODGE
Take the R27 from Cape Town along the West Coast.
Travel 6 kilometres past the Langebaan turn-off, take a left turn at the Saldanha turn-off.
Drive past Saldanha Steel and the Saldanha Airport.
Cross over the Vredenburg-Saldanha road and continue straight on to Jacobsbaai.
Once in Jacobsbaai, turn first road left, carry on over two stop streets.
Turn right into Mauritz Road, carry on over 2 speed bumps and turn right into Baviaantjie Bend. Red roof building.

Most beautiful village, best sunsets and flowers.
I had a wonderful time, the accommodation is very nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. Thank you very much for the wonderful two days I was able to spend there. Jacobs Bay is unique.
Everything is nicely laid out and the view from the Jutten room is wonderful. The establishment has easy access to the beach and a coastal route that takes you in and out between the beautiful bays at Jacobs Bay. The only problem is that we only had time for one night! But we plan to be back next time for a longer stay. The host, Belinda, was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Baviana Beach Lodge.

I have never stayed where there were absolute peace and quiet like at the Baviana Beach Lodge. The chalets have just enough to make you're stay comfortable and enjoyable. The owner and host, Belinda is an awesome lady, kind warm true Westcoast hospitality. She made us feel right at home, gave us a super great deal and very warm welcome. The surroundings was magnificent beautiful sea views, lovely walking trails lots of swimming and sunbathing spots on the rocks. Thank you so much Belinda, I will surely visit again. 😁😍💖💖💖
Beautiful accommodation. Spotlessly clean. Belinda was an awesome host and very accommodating. For a complete break away from everything and total relaxation, I highly recommend this little gem.

Baviana Beach Lodge is the ideal place if you want to get away from the busy life. We stay in the Meeuw and woke up every morning to beautiful views from our bedroom window. The accommodation is safe and because they have solar power, you will not have to worry about load shedding. There is an excellent private braai area for outside dining. The hosts (Archie and Belinda) went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable.

It is such a neat and quiet and relaxing town.
Very quiet little town - not much to do but to relax. A nice SPAR or decent shop would be nice.
Quiet, quaint and beautiful West Coast!
Everybody is so friendly. We had coffee at the coffee shops, ate at restaurants. Johan from Togreyersvlei wedding venue took us to all the lovely places, the food and all the friendly people were amazing, thank you, we will be returning, again.
