Monyane Lodge is a small mountain resort situated in the foothills of the Waterberg mountains, a mere 25 km from Bela Bela. The town of Bela Bela, previously known as Warmbaths, is also known as a good agricultural region with well-stocked game reserves.
Nestled in a kloof with mountain walks in a tranquil environment and more than 170 species of birds recorded. The resort has beautiful bushveld trees and is covered with bougainvilleas in different colours.
Monyane Lodge offers a restaurant & bar with DSTV, Self catering chalets, 2 Swimming pools (with an additional pool at Monyane Lodge Extension), putt-putt, mountain & kloof walks. We also have a lush green grass caravan park, all with electricity.
Family friendly: There is an open caravan park for the children to play as well as a swimming pool.
The lodge offers peaceful surroundings, beautiful views and mountain walks. A short 4x4 drive up the mountain takes you to a sundowner spot from where you can view a very big part of the Limpopo flats and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets.
We have a banqueting hall to seat up to 85 guests, ideal for conferences, weddings, year end functions, birthday parties etc.

Spend the day at Monyane Lodge. Day visitors must call in advance to book for the day. Day visitors allowed from 8 am until 5 pm. Extra charges apply per cooler box and hiking per person, please enquire for rates. If an educational institution wants to book for the day please make sure to bring along a lifeguard or person who can attend to the kids who will prevent accidents from happening in the pool.

The stay was lovely, besides the one bathroom light that kept on tripping. The grass was cut just right, and not a bald patch anywhere. The staff are friendly, but be careful. Maybe because of the unprecedented rain this Easter weekend, Montana Lodge is QUIET. No fuss about that. Will visit again..
The experience was highly affected by rain.. No memories whatsoever.
We took a mid-week break and as a result we had the place to ourselves. The peace and quiet was just what my family and I needed and the Bushveld provides that in spades.
We had an absolute wonderful stay. Beautiful, friendly people. We promised the hostess that we would be back. Maybe just look at equipping the units with salad bowls, etc. May also try and open a little shop which sells basic stuff like bread and milk, etc. Other than that, we have no complains. Place is neat and up to date. Thank you for a wonderful stay....The Keyser's & Fraser's.
Stay was alright. I liked it, wasn't bad. Excellent service. Staff was really good, always checked up and asked if we needed anything. They gave us discounted alcohol. I would revisit and recommend it.
