Our location is ideal for easy access to the main business districts of Bedfordview, Edenvale, Germiston, Sandton and the city centre. Within a two-kilometre radius, you will find the Bedford Gardens Hospital, the New Bedford Square Center, Park Meadows and Eastgate shopping centres. There you will find a gym, Ster Kinekor cinema nouveau and Nu Metro movie theatre, and of course, lots of shops and restaurants. We are approximately 10 kilometres from O.R Tambo International Airport.
House on York offers facilities for business meetings, breakfasts or lunches. We can also host and cater baby shower and kitchen tea parties, beading workshops and more!

I liked the welcome e-mail that I received prior to our arrival. House of York is very centrally situated and easy to locate. The fountain with running water created a relaxing atmosphere. The massaging/vibrating chair was excellent. Spacious room and air-con for very reasonable, affordable accommodation rates.
Accommodation was excellent. Transport service to airport and on tours around jo'burg was good.
Lots of stuff for the kids to do. Friendly staff. Free WiFi.
The place was everything it was advertised to be. I would highly recommend to others. The rooms are gorgeous! The staff is excellent. I would return there if I should visit Joburg again.
We really enjoyed our stay and found the the staff very accommmodating and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Everyone went the extra mile! Well furnished and VERY comfortable beds we definitely recommend staying here.

Good view and good services - Everything was amazing except the swimming pool which was not working.
This was a home away from home. I mostly enjoyed the massage chair in my room, the jaccuzi and the sauna. I was a bit dissappointed by the swimming pool that was not functional. The room was clean and very quiet and peaceful.
Soon as you drive through the gates, you feel at home. Our beautiful log cabin in the middle of the hustle and bustle of johannesburg was tranquil and beautifully decked out. It was all in the detail really. The shower was our favourite!!! i cant wait to come back.
