The sumptuous African country of Zambia is world-famous for its many dazzling natural spectacles and the South Luangwa National Park is hardly the exception. When the sun goes down and the lights of the 4WD vehicles power on, guests have the once-in-a-lifetime chance of seeing nocturnal animals like leopards, civets, and hyenas roam about in their natural habitats. Another wonderful, but altogether different way to explore the reserve, is by taking a safari hike; these are done with the assistance of an expert game ranger and can be a 4 hour sojourn or an overnight expedition camping in one of the bush camps that is quite rewarding in its own right.
