Thaba ya-Metsi Country Estate is a lush, beautiful indigenous farm situated in South Africa, where the Waterberg Mountains meet the far-stretching Springbok Flats. Situated between Potgietersrus and Naboomspruit. With luxurious accommodation, four-star rated hospitality and stylish comfort, the satisfaction of our guests is our top priority! The Estate includes a variety of facilities, making it the perfect choice for weekend getaways, overnight-stays, conferences, private events or year-end functions and weddings.
Thaba ya-Metsi Country Estate has eight stylishly decorated rooms. Each room has its own private entrance, en-suite bathroom and is equipped with: fully stocked bar fridge with soft drinks and wine, hospitality tray with kettle, coffee, tea, and complimentary rusks, fruit and sherry, a television with satellite (DSTV) and MNET, air conditioning and fresh towels. Guests have access to: barbecue facilities, a fully licensed bar, a swimming pool, secure parking, pool table & entertainment area, donkey cart excursions and arranged game drives.
A highlight of your visit to the estate is the three-course dinner which is served on request, on the wooden deck or in the dining room. Sunday lunch is also offered for those who wish to enjoy a peaceful afternoon and it must be booked on Saturdays, before 17h00.
Within a 35-kilometer radius, our guests will find many other attractions, including The Entabeni Big Five Nature Game Reserve, The Makapans Caves, The Reptile and Crocodile Farm, Legend Golf Estate and popular mineral resorts. Nearby activities include: bird watching, fishing and hiking.

If you need good food you will get it at Thaba-Ya-Metsi! Thanks to the staff that always give us a warm welcome for a good stay!!!!
We went for a family wedding nearby. We only booked 2 days in advance. The host immediately replied to some info we needed for our stay. We had a very warm and friendly reception, and the room and everything else were more than expected. The breakfast was superb. We can really recommend Thaba-ya-Metsi to anyone.

Mutapa lodge was brilliant and the golf nearby a must!
I visited the Waterberg Game park with my family. We had a wonderful time. The place was so spectacular, the animals roaming around. I would visit the place again.
