R’new at Vaal Estate offers conference and wedding venues, unique activities and luxury accommodation in three separate villas within a game farm on the banks of the Vaal Dam. Each villa has its own distinct character and appeal; but every detail has been carefully considered to ensure our guests’ comfort and enjoyment. The picturesque estate is home to South Africa’s largest Chartres-style labyrinth. Situated just one-and-a-half hours from Johannesburg on the Vaal’s South Bay, R’new is a world away from the city’s bustle and noise. The name of our pristine, tranquil space says it all. R’new. The moment that you drive through the gate and take in the wide-open spaces, the free-roaming antelope and sunlight sparkling on the water, you will begin to unwind, recharge and reconnect with nature. While relaxation is the order of the day, the range of activities on offer also means that memories are made here, and fun, new experiences shared with family and friends. From pamper sessions at the spa and wellness centre to meditative moments in our labyrinth or genial gin tasting at our distillery, there is something for everyone at R’new.

* Home in the Wellness Centre: Country style farmhouse with three en-suite bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen, lounges with fireplaces and dining spaces. Enjoy an indoor pool, steamshower, gym, hydratherapy bath, patio, braai, labyrinth, and water views. Spa treatments and gin tastings.

Relax, Rewind , Re-energise: The R’new Wellness Centre and Day Spa offers guests the opportunity to luxuriate in the indoor aqua pool overlooking the labyrinth, the more private tranquility room with its hydro-therapy bath, the steam shower, gym, or to appreciate the view from a day bed. Select treatments are on offer, too. Ssshhh…. for a touch of irreverence, don’t forget to sample our tongue-in-cheek Champagne Detox or Botanical G & T's. Keep your eyes peeled for our Laughter Therapy and Happiness Treatments that include mojo inducing cocktail recipes and demonstrations. On a more serious note, R’new will be distilling essential oils to create a range of botanically infused products. * Walk the Labyrinth: The Chartres Labyrinth is a major attraction for every guest. Picture rows of thyme, oregano, catmint, lavender, rosemary, echinacea, fennel and many other varieties of herbs. Every row brings new colours and fragrances, while fruit trees create the labyrinth border. Daily opportunities to distill your essence abound. The labyrinth is open on the last Sunday of every month between spring and autumn for day visitors to join in the celebrations and to learn about our botanicals and their holistic 'feel-good' benefits.

The place is very nice and neat
The staff are so nice Paul and the other guy we didn’t get his name were very helpful we’re impressed 🙏🏾
My family have visited 'Rnew on several occasions and have at all times been made to feel very welcome.
The buildings are airy, clean and beautifully furnished. The setting is peaceful but invigorating. We especially enjoy wondering the paths of the huge labyrinth.
The number of people that can be accommodated is impressive for what can be surprisingly cosy even though all the rooms are huge.
Seriously consider 'Rnew for large family gatherings or company team-building events.

It was a dream come true for me and our Seeds of Africa team to spend time together at your beautiful conference centre and wellness farm.
The conference facilities are excellent. Kim facilitated our strategy and team building sessions and her insight and guidance were invaluable .. our team not only felt safe to dig deep and share but they also learnt so much from all the experiences and interactions.
The accommodation is beautiful, spacious and clean, Alvina and all the staff go the extra mile .. even Stellar and Cooper the resident dogs are welcoming and friendly! R’new exceeded our expectations on every level .. thank-you to all at R’new for everything you did to make our time with you unique and unforgettable. The sunset cruise, the treatments in the spa and sitting under the stars sharing good laughs and unforgettable stories were some of my highlights but everyone in our team had their own favorite moments to look back on and we all left feeling motivated, inspired and R’newed
Thank you so much for hosting us Kim, your place is a gem and everything is from the highest standards. Rooms stunning, food out of this world, the view is gorgeous. Such a tranquil place to come and refresh and rest, not too far from city life.

There are no words to adequately describe my stay. Perhaps I was indeed "Distilled" - my own Essence languished and distilled. My stay was an escape from the city, from everyone and everything. My soul needed to be Loved and indulged. The Labyrinth is unquestionably the most richest and decadent Labyrinth in the entire Universe! It is like no other in the world. You would need to know the background of its creation, and Manifestation, to fully comprehend the uniqueness of this Labyrinth. The Gin Distilling Experience exceeded my expectations and the tour was informative, fun and fascinating. I distilled my own unique blend of Gin and now, there is no other like it on the planet.
Kim, the creator of this sublime Wellness Centre is the most perfect, gracious, gentle and generous Host. Her energy permeates throughout the vast Home, Wellness Centre, Labyrinth and hectares of land. The Wellness Centre is perfect for a solo or soul vacation, friend and family gatherings and business getaways and corporate meetings. There's a helipad, perfect for private and exclusive business meetings. Food is homemade with love and care. The ethos "behind the scenes" is of inexplicable kindness and generosity, compassion and dignity - uplifting the staff and surrounding community. Conscious business ethics that make this Wellness Centre unique. Different to any other that I have visited in a lifetime of worldwide travels.

What a superb experience. We attended a gin workshop during which we learned, laughed, tasted and tested our creations together. We walked the labyrinth as the sun was setting on the land side and the waters glistened on the other side - completely magical! The accommodation is super spacious, super luxurious and super elegant - set as it is on the banks of the Vaal dam surrounded with buck, hare and wonderful bird life. Kim is a gracious host and will go out of her way to accommodate her guests and her team have learned to do the same... Thank you R'new for a spoiling experience!
