Welcome to Mountain Charcoal Guest House,
Come stay on a very safe smallholding tucked in between 2 mountains at the entry of the Drakensberg Mountains on the mountain side of Lady Grey in the Eastern Cape. Game freely roam the smallholding with lots of hiking trails starting into the mountains from here☺

What an amazing place, waking up with Zebras in front of your window and a nice mountain view. You can start hiking trips to the dam (don't forget swim wear) and other places directly from the B'n B. Hosts were unbelievable friendly and created a family atmosphere. We spent three nice days there in Jan 2023 and hopefully will come back soon.

We booked one night at Mountain Charcoal, and ended up there for two! Gorgeous setting with beautiful mountain views and what an experience to feed the zebras. Annamie's yummy homemade pizzas and burgers were an added treat. Wonderful down to earth hosts who our staffie also fell in love with in this pet friendly environment. Thank you for a lovely stay!
