Kliphuijs Guest House has eight beautifully decorated rooms as well as one self-catering unit further away from the guest house. Guests can relax en-route to their holiday destination or just a break away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.
It lies in the heart of the central Karoo, which its residents like to speak of as the 'world's best-developed desert', and is touted as being midway between Cape Town and Johannesburg.
Please note that the pool is only for the self-catering unit.

An oasis on the N1! beautiful garden, refreshing pool, a welcoming and enthusiastic host. Gorgeous decor. Take some time to explore the little dorpie - you will be pleasantly surprised!
What a gorgeous place to stay!
The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the general feel of the place is just lovely!
We felt immediately at ease on the tranquil verandah. We would highly recommend Kliphuijs to all!
I would suggest booking dinner at the establishment or other restaurants in town before arrival. Richmond is rather small and you will need to plan ahead.
