Welcome to iDullies Cottage !

Dullstroom, a charming village nestled in the beautiful Mpumalanga Highlands, is a mere 2.5 hours drive from Gauteng and conveniently situated halfway to the lovely Kruger Park. Given its altitude at 2100m above sea level, it is the highest village in South Africa and has become a super popular training base for top European athletes during the summer months. Dullstroom is known for its stunning crystal clear dams, perfect for trout fishing and popular outdoor activities include, not only fly-fishing, but also hiking, mountain biking and an array of other fun adventure sports. The town also boasts an Ernie Els designed championship golf course.

Culture is abundant here with true culinary experiences, with numerous excellent restaurants, coffee shops, craft-beer brewery, and a world-renowned whiskey bar and eclectic pubs all forming part of this relaxed village. We support a significant arts community and are an escape for artists, writers and musicians, so come out and play in this unique African jewel.

This stylish double storey holiday home is situated in the secure residential complex of the centrally located Critchley Common Village, which is well known for its quaint small English village feel. There are spectacular views from most points on the estate towards the Suikerboschkop Nature Reserve and the outlying countryside of the beautiful Dullstroom. Critchley Common Village estate has beautiful ponds, of which one is a duckpond. It is conveniently located within walking distance to all of the town amenities and restaurants.

This stunning self-catering holiday house consists of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There are two downstairs en-suite bedrooms with a bath and shower, one bedroom is furnished with a super king size bed and the other with a double bed. There are another two bedrooms located upstairs, one with a queen size bed and the other with two three-quarter beds, both sharing a bathroom with a bath. The landing offers a small sunny sitting-reading room.

The house has an open plan, well equipped kitchen, and a lovely lounge area with comfortable seating and a fireplace. There is also a sunny patio with a braai and furniture, with lovely views, looking onto the beautiful garden.

The host, as well as a caretaker, is available to assist with any emergency or reasonable request either on site or telephonically.

It's a little gem, where most is homemade and authentic. People are very humble, artistic and kind.
