Surrounded by a 7300-hectare living escape of prime African savannah, Okapuka Safari Lodge is an oasis of lush green lawns under ancient camel thorn trees against the backdrop of a towering mountain range. Enjoy the peace and quiet from the veranda of your cosy room watching an array of warthogs passing by accompanied by antelopes, peacefully grazing side by side.
Guests have a choice of lovely rooms that can each accommodate 2 people. The air-conditioned rooms are furnished with double, king-size or twin beds and have en-suite bathrooms with showers. The lovely rooms offer tea and coffee-making facilities, a seating area, Wi-Fi access and open onto a patio with outdoor seating.
Okapuka Safari Lodge offers an on-site restaurant, bar, and an outdoor swimming pool. The lodge has 24-hour security and secure parking is provided at the main lodge.
Okapuka, meaning “small animal” in Herero, lives up to its name at first glance. The iconic game drive, however, will take your breath away as you may encounter most of Namibia’s beautiful and diverse wildlife right here. Just out of town yet deep in the African bushveld, you are almost guaranteed sightings of all indigenous antelope species, giraffes, ostriches and, most importantly, white rhinos.
