Mongena Private Game Lodge is located on an exclusive traversing area of 8500ha within the greater Big 5 Dinokeng Game Reserve, a mere 90 minute drive from OR Tambo International Airport. Accommodation is in the form of 18 twin rooms and 6 family units accommodating up to 60 guests. The rooms feature air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom, coffee/tea making facilities, mini-safe, hairdryer, satellite TV and patio. All chalets are well positioned amidst rolling lawns and indigenous landscaped gardens.
The main areas include reception, lounge area, bar, swimming pool, breakfast area and restaurant. The tame Zebra's, Nyala's and Springbucks residing in the main camp are delighting all guests with their presence and have become a favourite trademark of Mongena.
The lodge also has a wheelchair friendly twin room with a paraplegic bathroom facility. Wifi is available at certain hotspots around the lodge.
Baby cots are available and baby feeding chairs are provided in the dining areas.

I enjoyed the self-game driving, though I only saw 2 of the Big 5's next time I'll use the Game Rangers drive... I also loved the picnic sighting the food there it's very nice and tasty...
