The Serenity Loft is a characterful and tranquil self-catering getaway, perched high up in Malherbe Street in Clarens, overlooking the Maluti Mountains.
This spacious upstairs loft contains one bedroom, one bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The spacious bedroom features a ceiling fan, a double bed, a dedicated work desk, built-in cupboard space, and a full en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a fridge-freezer, hob and oven, kettle, toaster and cutlery and crockery. Fresh Woolworths coffee rusks and local treats are provided on arrival. The living area features a dining table and chairs, a wood-burning fireplace, and a lounge area with ceiling fan, Smart TV and sofa bed. Uncapped 3 Mbps Wi-Fi is available.
The living area leads to a 24-square metre patio with built-in braai with stunning views of the Maluti Mountain range, comfortable Haus deck chairs and a round patio table to enjoy meals at.

We love exploring Golden Gate, wondering through the shops in the Town and visiting our favourite Clarens Brewery. We enjoy supporting the smaller farm restaurants in the area. Highland Brew was a lovely new addition to this trip.
Variety
Main roads to town are recommended for daylight use only. Small town atmosphere but with a wide variety of activities and stores. The annual Titanic Challenge Trail Run was my main attraction - stunning views!

Village atmosphere & the beautiful mountains
Small, quaint, but very lively little town with spectacular views all around. Hiking is a must and can be done on the edge of town. We stayed at Views and the hiking trail was on our back door. Beautiful, beautiful little town offering great food, culture, entertainment and beautiful hiking trails.
