Rocklands Eco Retreat offers a tranquil, off-the-grid getaway perched on a cliff with stunning picturesque views of the valley, in the Western Cape. Our luxurious eco-friendly shipping container cabin is nestled in the heart of Rocklands. This unique cabin has been thoughtfully designed with natural green and grey interiors, providing a cosy and comfortable stay for nature lovers, couples, and digital nomads alike. The container cabin offers a studio-style layout with a comfortable 2-sleeper king-size bed, a kitchenette, and a bathroom with a bidet. The outside deck serves as an extra lounge space, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring the area. Our 2x6m container cabin is the perfect spot for couples looking for a peaceful getaway. Relax in the outdoor bathtub while taking in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Our Granadilla plant is watered by the shower run-off, ensuring that our eco-friendly values are top of mind. For those who love cooking, we have a plant box with fresh herbs to add some extra flavour to your meals. And for digital nomads, we have dedicated workspaces and free Wi-Fi to keep you connected during your stay. The cabin also has a braai/BBQ place and a bed on rolls to sleep under the stars, allowing you to experience the breathtaking night sky of Rocklands. The Grasslang also features a kitchenette, ideal for preparing light meals, and a big outside deck, which serves as extra lounge space for you to unwind in the fresh mountain air. Take a refreshing outdoor shower and water our Granadilla Plant with the run-off. Our bathroom is fitted with a bidet shower, and we also have a braai place for those who enjoy a good old-fashioned South African barbecue. For the adventurous types, our bed on rolls allows you to sleep under the stars and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. We also cater to digital nomads, with dedicated workspaces and strong Wi-Fi for you to stay connected and productive during your stay. You can also easily explore the Rocklands area and all it has to offer. Come experience the unique luxury of Grasslang, the perfect accommodation for a couple's retreat or a solo digital nomad seeking a peaceful and sustainable retreat in the heart of nature. The accommodation is in the form of repurposing old shipping containers and transforming them into eco-friendly cabins. Electricity will be provided from solar energy, water will come from a natural spring & borehole and waste will be recycled to leave a minimal carbon footprint. Please note the dirt/rocky road to the cabin is not tended. Cars should be park at the bottom of the property and guests need to walk 150 metres uphill to the cabin.
