Enjoyed everything, the slow pace, nature, canoeing on the lake. The stay at Lake Pleasant was awesome! Will definitely return for a longer stay.
It a cool place and not busy and not far from N2.
From the arrival, till leaving the next day on a business overnight stay, I can only say one thing. FABULOUS...Thanx for a good night's rest.
It's a beautiful part of the country and the people are friendly
Quaint shops, easily accessible, access to garages, drs , vets etc.
Farmers' Market; visiting the Lakes; close to Wilderness.
The Market is an great experience every time.

The road continues upwards as you climb an old dune to reach splendid vistas of Sedgefield’s estuary and wide flat beach on the Indian Ocean.
Sedgefield is a certified Slow Town, the first African town to receive the accreditation from Cittaslow, an Italian organisation that promotes quality of life over a hectic, money-chasing lifestyle. The town’s emblem is the tortoise and visitors are encouraged to take it easy and appreciate the simple things in life.
